Goodbye 2008, Welcome 2009

Okay, I was going to post about Christmas. Then I was going to do some memes. Instead I'm sick with a cold so you get bullet points.

-All in all 2008 wasn't bad.

-I got my first full time library job.

-I moved to GA.

-I adopted 2 kittens. It's the first time I've owned been owned by a male kitty.

-Christmas was good. My main present (b-day and x-mas) was my shiny, wonderful Digital SLR camera, but mom and dad also got me a couple stocking stuffers. Those included:
-cat earrings
-cat measuring spoons
-a cat nail file
-a cat bookmark (complete with a furry tail, which Lyric has since detached and "killed")
-cat notecards
-noticing any themes?

-New Years Eve kind of sucked. Worked until 3 (left 2 hours early cuz I didn't feel good). Slept 5 hours, then got up to watch New Year stuff on TV.

-So I've started 2009 with a cold. Blah. Hopefully it (the year and cold) will improve soon.

Also, I was keeping track of the books I read in 2008. I didn't have any goals in mind. I'd just never tracked my books before and was curious. It turns out I read 98 books! Woo! Details (how many of different genres, how many in each month, etc. are under the cut.
