Lyre Update

Lyre is back home now, and locked in the bathroom. He was originally just going to be in a doggie cage; he's supposed to be kept separate from Lyre for about six weeks. He was crying a lot in the cage though. I think I could have handled that, but when I saw him climb to the top of the cage I knew that couldn't be good. I moved him into the bathroom. He's not thrilled in there either, but he's not crying as much. I would love to let him run around the apartment, but the problem is that he would be, well, running around the apartment. Lyric doesn't understand that he can't play rough, and Lyre doesn't really understand that he can't either! On on hand, that's a good sign; it means he doesn't feel too bad. On the other hand, I'm afraid he'll hurt himself. Hopefully confining him to bathroom will help. I was just in there for a while with him, as was Lyric for a bit. He curled up on my back. :) I have a bed, food, water, and a litter box for him, so I hope he'll be okay. He also sees the surgeon again in two weeks for a check up.
