Crocheted Bear
May. 6th, 2010 08:39 pmI've been crocheting pretty consistently in the past few months. I crocheted presents for friends at Christmas. After the holidays I made a scarf for myself. Recently I finished a scarf that the Gwinnett Choral Guild will be adding to raffle basket. (I know it's not scarf weather, but scarves are easy to make.) My most recent project was a bear for my mom for Mother's Day. I made it using a book
loose_pages_sd sent me for Christmas. It's called Super Cute: 25 Amigurumi Animals. It was the first time I'd made anything from the book so I was a bit nervous, but I think it turned out well. I had help with the mouth and sewing on the eyes, but everything else I did by myself with some instructions from Ruth, who leads Loop Group. Here's the finished bear:
