Update On My Dad

Dad continues to improve! It seems like almost every day I go visit he's gotten at least a bit better. Today in physical therapy he actually walked a bit. He was holding into parallel bars, and the therapist helped him move his right (weaker) leg, but he was moving forward! He did it four times, each times going 10 or 15 feet. He also used a walker to get from his wheelchair into bed as opposed to sliding on a board as he had been doing. Those are both very good signs. Mentally dad's also been very upbeat. Every nurse who's worked with him knows what he wants to do in the yard this Spring because he's been looking at plant catalogs and telling his plans to anyone who'll listen. Another good sign.

In other random news a nurse thought I was 17 today! SEVENTEEN! I usually get 24 or 25 and at least 21. Sheesh.
