A Note to Knoxville Drivers
Feb. 6th, 2008 05:54 pmFirst of all, I know you don't like to use your turn indicators. However, I would really appreciate it if you could at least give me a bit of advance warning before cutting me off in traffic. In fact, if you used your indicator to let me know you wanted to switch lanes, I would most likely let you move over. See how that works? It would also be nice to know when you plan to turn.
Second, stop signs are not suggestions. You're really supposed to stop, even in parking lots and on streets with little traffic. And I mean actually come to a full, complete stop. Not slow down and almost stop but then roll through. Not slow down just a bit and keep going. Really stop. When I am walking or driving by an intersection and you have a stop I should not have to wonder if you're actually going to stop.
