NaNoWriMo. Am I absolutely nuts to even be considering attempting it this year? Here's how things break down:
Cons:
- it's my last semester, and I'll be busy job hunting
- i'll have final assignments for classes due at the end of the month
- comps is in November
- i remember getting frustrated and struggling to make it to 50,000 words last year
Pros:
- comps is November 2, so it wouldn't cut into writing time for too long
- i can find time to write at work or even in the airport when i fly home at Thanksgiving
- i already have a roughly outlined plot beginning
- i remember having fun last year, and i like writing
That's how things stand at the moment. So, what does everyone think?
