Sort of anyway. I'm sure the people here in Knoxville consider this to be snow. I however do not, not really anyway. It's snowing pretty well, not lightly, but it's not really heavy either. It's not sticking to the roads at all, although it's sticking a bit on the grass. If I wake up tomorrow and there's still now around on the grass or (gasp!) even on the roads then I will consider this snow. But if it disappears quickly, no way. I'll wait and see what happens.
Edit (Thurs. morning): There's still a bit of snow left this morning, but it's mostly melted already. I'm not even sure we got half an inch, and there was never anything on the roads. And they cancelled schools! A lot of schools! I had heard they cancelled schools for minimal amounts of snow, but I was honestly in shock when I saw an announcement about school closings on TV last night. The South amuses me sometimes.
