Fun, Fun, Fun!
Dec. 9th, 2005 11:36 amYay, yesterday was SO much fun! First of all, after I turned in my project for 530, I was finished. Clases are OVER and that feels SO good!! Anyway, Carrie, Jessica, and I went and saw "Rent" yesterday. I knew I liked "Rent"; I saw it on Broadway, and I listen to my soundtrack all the time. But WOW! I loved it! I got goosebumps several times, and everytime famliar music started playing I mentally shouted, "Yay!!" There were a few things that were changed, but they all worked. The three of us all said, "I want to see it again!" after we left the theater. So good. I will be listening to my soundtrack for the enxt few days. :)
After the movie, we went to get some food at Chilis. That was fun. We sat, ate, and talked. That was good because we haven't had a chance to hang out socially much lately. We e-mail, see eachother in class, and talk afterwards. However, we've all been so busy with finishing up work that we really hadn't had time to do anything besdies talk after class. So it was fun to spend time together without saying, "So, I'm stuck on (fill in assingment here). Any hints?"
We left the restaurant and dropped Jessica at home (she doesn't drive), and then Carrie and I went back to her apartment, where my car was. I went inside, and we ended up looking at her cd collection, listening to/singing along with her "Rent" soundtrack, and just talking. Abby, her cat, also decided my lap was the perfect place to curl up and sleep. Not that I minded! So I was there for about two hours.
As I was about leave Carrie's, Matt called and asked if I wanted to hang out with him. So, I left Carrie's apartment and headed over to Matt's place. He and I watched "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban". After that we talked for a while. I left around 3:00. By the time I got back to m apartment, I was exhausted and went right to bed, but I had so much fun all day yesterday! All in all, I'd say that was the perfect way to celebrate the end of classes.
